Cajun Chicken with Sausage


  •  2 chicken breasts seasoned with jerky
    1/2 pound hot sausage, sliced ​​
    1 cup penne pasta
    1 cup rotini pasta
    1 green pepper, diced
    Onion 1 clove garlic, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup tomato sauce
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    Salt and pepper to taste

Cajun Chicken with Sausage


1 Cook the penne and rotini pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and fry until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. Add the sausage slices to the same skillet and fry until brown. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
4. Sauté the onions, peppers, and garlic in the remaining oil until soft.
5. Shred the cooked chicken and add it back to the pot with the sausage.
6. Add tomato sauce, chicken stock, and Cajun seasoning. Stir often and simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Add the boiled pasta, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
